Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using The Sticker Bug, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

Description of Service

The Sticker Bug is a web-based platform that allows users to upload images and create sticker sets using artificial intelligence. We provide tools to transform your images into printable sticker grids and allow users to share and monetize their creations through our gems-based economy.

User Accounts

To access certain features of our service, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and complete information
• Updating your information to keep it current
• Being at least 13 years old to create an account

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our service to:

• Upload content that violates any laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Upload inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content
• Upload copyrighted material without permission (including characters, logos, artwork)
• Create content that is defamatory, harassing, or discriminatory
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use our service for any unlawful or prohibited purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt our service or servers
• Circumvent our payment systems or manipulate our gems economy
• Create multiple accounts to abuse free credits or promotions

AI-Generated Content and Copyright

Content Creation

Our service uses artificial intelligence to generate stickers based on your inputs. By using our AI generation features, you acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may inadvertently resemble existing copyrighted works
• You are responsible for ensuring your input images don't violate copyright
• We cannot guarantee the uniqueness of AI-generated outputs
• You must have rights to any images you upload for sticker generation

Copyright Compliance

Users must not upload or generate content that infringes on intellectual property rights, including but not limited to:

• Copyrighted characters (Disney, Marvel, anime characters, etc.)
• Trademarked logos or brand imagery
• Celebrity likenesses without permission
• Artwork created by others without proper rights

Copyright Reporting

If you believe your copyrighted work has been used without permission, please contact us at hello@thestickerbug.com with:

• Description of the copyrighted work
• Location of the infringing material on our platform
• Your contact information
• A statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorized

We will review all copyright reports and take appropriate action, which may include removing content or suspending accounts.

Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain ownership of any original content you upload to our service. By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to process, store, display, and distribute your content as necessary to provide our services.

AI-Generated Content Ownership

For AI-generated stickers created using our service:

• You own the generated stickers and may use them for personal or commercial purposes
• We retain no ownership rights to your generated content
• You are responsible for ensuring generated content doesn't infringe on third-party rights
• By sharing content publicly, you grant other users the right to download and use your stickers according to our platform rules

Our Content

The service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by The Sticker Bug and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Gems Economy and Payments

Virtual Currency

Gems are a virtual currency used within our platform. Important terms:

• Gems have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for real money
• Gems are non-refundable except as required by law
• Gem balances do not expire
• We reserve the right to adjust gem costs with reasonable notice
• Unused gems may be forfeited if your account is terminated for violations

Gem Rewards

Users can earn gems when others download their public stickers:

• Maximum rewards: 100 gems per sticker created
• Rewards are automatically credited to your account
• We reserve the right to suspend rewards for policy violations
• Gem rewards have no monetary value and cannot be converted to cash
• No tax obligations arise from gem rewards as they are virtual credits only

Payment Processing

Payments are processed through Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. All sales are final unless otherwise specified.

Content Standards

We reserve the right to review and remove content that violates our terms, including:

• Content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Inappropriate, offensive, or harmful material
• Content that violates applicable laws
• Spam or promotional content

While we are not obligated to monitor all content, we reserve the right to review and remove content at our discretion. Users are encouraged to report problematic content via email.

Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the service, to understand our practices regarding data collection, use, and sharing.

International Users

Our service is operated from United Kingdom by Zoo Holdings Ltd. By using our service, you consent to the processing of your data in accordance with UK data protection laws and the transfer of your data as necessary for service provision.

Service Availability

We strive to keep our service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or terminate service for maintenance, updates, or other reasons. AI generation features depend on third-party services and may be temporarily unavailable.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Sticker Bug shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use of our service or inability to use our service
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or personal information
• Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code that may be transmitted through our service
• Content created using our AI generation tools
• Any errors or omissions in content or loss/damage incurred from use of content

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Sticker Bug and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of our service
• Content you upload or generate
• Your violation of these terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights

Account Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination:

• Your access to the service will be revoked
• Your content may be deleted (subject to backup retention policies)
• Unused gems will be forfeited
• You remain liable for any outstanding obligations

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms and Conditions on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our service shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Severability
